ACE Heart & Vascular institute celebrates Independence Day

 


Mohali: As part of the ongoing celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 76th Independence Day of the country was celebrated in a dignified manner at Mohali’s ACE Heart & Vascular Institute (Sector 69).

Mohali Municipal Corporation councillors Kuldeep Kaur Dhanoa and Aruna Sharma unfurled the national flag at the hospital premises followed by the national anthem infusing a sense of pride and respect for our nation.

Addressing the audience, institute Director and Chief Intervention Cardiologist and structural heart specialist Dr. Puneet K Verma greeted everyone with Independence day wishes and said that “we have attained freedom after a long struggle and so we should cherish it”.

Director cardiac surgery at the institute Dr. Rana Sandip Singh emphasized efforts done by ACE Heart & Vascular Institute to achieve freedom from heart diseases through its preventive, paediatric and adult cardiac services using the most advanced technology. In the end, institute administrator Col. Barinder Singh delivered a vote of thanks. BW
